I moved to Moab in 1992 and got my real estate license about a year later. I had earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah the year before at age 37, and prior to that, I had been a dairy farmer with my father on the Draper, Utah family farm I grew up on. In my over twenty years as a realtor, my favorite part of the job is meeting amazing people, many of whom I have become friends with.
I am very active in local Moab activities. I sit on the board of directors for the Grand County waste management and recycling operation, I volunteer for many local events and music festivals, and I am a member of the Moab Chamber of Commerce. I am a professional guide for the Moab Adventure Center for guided hikes in Arches National Park and for slick rock Hummer tours.
My hobbies are playing Native American flutes, drums, didgeridoo, ukulele, and many other percussions, string, and woodwind instruments. I am an avid hiker and have been since my first hike in the Moab red rocks in 1962 when I was ten years old. When the snow is here I enjoy skiing in the La Sal Mountains (“the greatest snow on Earth”) just south of Moab. Year-round, the Colorado River calls me and I kayak as often as possible. I meditate on a regular basis and connect to the universal spirit through the sounds of the Native American flutes that I play. Thank you Great Mystery!
I am living in paradise and plan to spend the rest of my life here. As your realtor, I will help you buy or sell your perfect place at the perfect time for the perfect price. Join me in Living the Moab Dream!
